Kathy discovered a love for totems and totemic art in 2002.  After studying totemic styles from Hermetic stone markers to Viking Runic markers to Native American and Mayan totems, she began to explore a means of taking the relevant symbols of her life and turning them into totems.

One of her first totems, "Mayan Dance" won first place in the 3-D competition at the 2003 Central Georgia Art Association Competition..

The totems come in two sizes.  Approximately 7 feet tall and a smaller "desktop" model that is approximately three feet in height.  All feature hand carved  beads (see close-up right) and all feature themed motifs.
